Pork Chops and Rice

Pork Chops and Rice
My Family's Comfort Meal

  • 4 c cooked rice (2 c uncooked rice)
  • 4 T butter
  • 3 boneless pork chops
  • 2 ½ c milk
  • 2 T vegetable oil
  • 2 T flour
  • salt and pepper – for taste
Cook rice.

In a large skillet, heat 2 T of vegetable oil over medium heat. Season pork chops with salt and pepper and add to skillet. Brown pork chops until no longer pink and move to a plate.

In a small pot, melt butter. Dissolve flour into milk. Add to pot and simmer for 5 minutes. Stir constantly. Serve over pork chops and rice.
